Speaking

Sharing the words God has given me with others is a joy.

Bobbie Frazier

The photo above was taken two days after an an accident, which proved to be quite painful… in fact, it prevented me from walking.

Right before the event, I asked myself, “How am I going to not only show up, but carry out the mission God set for me?” I prayed, “Please, Lord, take away the pain to enable me to speak and share my passion for prayer with this congregation.”

My prayer that morning was answered.

Within minutes of that prayer I was able to prepare myself for speaking, arrive at the church, walk up to the podium, make myself comfortable on the stool they graciously provided, speak for approximately one hour, and share with people individually!

After arriving home, I could not put any pressure on my foot or walk, and the constant pain returned, proving to be unbearable. With this divine break, I was able to accomplish the Lord’s will and speak to a crowd. The Lord answered my prayer! He allowed me to speak. But most importantly, He assured me of His love for me by extending the mercy, grace, and pain free two hours that I needed to share His Words for my passion for prayer.

The next week after scans and x rays it was revealed I had suffered six broken bones in my foot which included my heel breaking off which was attached to my Achilles tendon. Surgery would be required and absolutely no weight could be put on that foot for months.

My doctor said there was no way I should have been able to walk at all.

BUT GOD.
