PRECIOUS

PRECIOUS

Precious – something of great value; not to be wasted or treated carelessly

or even – highly esteemed or cherished.

Acts 17:26 says Every human being is precious in the eyes of God – Yes! So precious that He sent His only son into the world to redeem us from sin’s curse.

So – Just think about how God must feel when we come to Him. When we, His precious children, spend time with Him.

COMMUNICATION

Our prayer time with God is our communication with Him. Not just a thank you for keeping me safe, but an open conversation with Him.

That is what Prayer Pocket Ministry desires to help you with.

Last week we talked about our first set of prayer cards.

This week let’s talk about our second set of cards.

You know, fortunately, there are NO gray areas when we talk about our salvation. God made sure that we would not have to guess about it.

No matter what our sin, or what we have done or not done; Jesus was sent to take on our sins. This happens, His taking on our sins, when we ask Jesus into our hearts, admit we are a sinner and ask for forgiveness.

COMMITMENT

It is a commitment. A journey of love when we accept the gift of grace because of God’s mercy.

A relationship does not grow without communication. When we commit our lives to Christ, when we claim victory in knowing who He is and what He can do for us, it is then we make the commitment to be persistent in our time with Him.

When we talk to Him and listen to Him.

When we can sit in our prayer room and visualize God opening His arms and saying “come sit with me child, let Me tell you how much I love you!”

CARRY ON

The cards in this group of prayer cards have a word that helps guide us through the prayer points, along with scripture and then on the back prayer points with a little guidance that the first group of cards have.

The first card is GRATEFUL –

You know, it doesn’t matter whether you have been a child of God of many years or a few short days, there are times we all need the “strength to carry on”.

To “carry on” –  your acknowledgment of who is in control in your life is important, and then tell God how grateful you are that He is in control!

When you make the conscious decision to claim victory over your sins by asking for forgiveness you may feel weary as you name them one by one, BUT, be assured, God will give you the strength to CARRY ON.

REFLECT

The second card is MERCY –

When God declares us “not guilty’ for our sins he is taking the action of showing us compassion, kindness, forgives and love – MERCY!

God gives us the gift of mercy so we can follow His guidance and show mercy to others by deed, word, and by prayer. This is the fullness of mercy.

GUILT

The third card is HUMBLE –

Don’t allow your past to haunt you. Guilt CAN AND WILL destroy you if you allow it!

God wants all of you, not just a part you think may be worthy.

Jesus made it possible for us to be fully worthy in God’s eyes.

PROCESS

The fourth card is MISSIONAL –

You and others may be confused over how God made the way to eternal life through salvation a process that is accessible to anyone.

Be prepared to share your story – your testimony – to others.

How did Christ choose you?  How has your life changed?

You can be a missionary right in your own home.

MESS

The fifth card is JOY –

Ultimate joy only comes from Christ residing in you.

Show others how Jesus turned your “mess” into “mercy”.

When you work on IMPRESSING others you are putting YOUR successes ahead of CHRIST.

BUT, when you work on IMPACTING others you are putting GOD’S work FIRST.

These cards are here for you to use as a tool to grow your prayer life, your relationship, your communication with God.

Remember – if you do not have a prayer pocket and would like one. Go to the contact form on this website and request one.

God loves you. He wants you to spend time with Him. Try it this week. Let me know how your life has been changed by the prayers you speak.

Thank You, Jesus. Thank You!  Thank You for loving us, even when we are not so lovable. Thank You for walking with us when are stumbling through the hard times. Thank You for hearing our pleas when our tears are heavy. Thank You for the joy You have to offer. Let us take it and fill our soul so others can see You in us.  In Jesus Name. Amen
